Welcome to My World of Children’s Picture Books
Hi, I’m Jonathan, an illustrator and storyteller with a love for imaginative picture books, unusual characters and stories that leave a little something behind after the final page.
At the heart of my work is The Merry-Go-Round Series, created especially for children aged 3 to 5. Many of these stories began as vivid dreams in 2017, followed by rough sketches and little doodles that gradually grew into fully illustrated books.
My stories are playful, but never empty. Through adventure and humour, they explore kindness, courage, friendship, faith and some surprisingly big ideas, giving children and grown-ups something to discover and discuss together.
My hope is simply to create books children enjoy returning to, while planting small seeds of curiosity, compassion and faith along the way.

Created for readers aged 7 to 10, The Bible That Survived the Fire brings together eleven carefully sourced accounts of Bibles discovered after fires, storms, floods and war.
These remarkable stories invite children to consider what was documented, what witnesses reported and what people believed the events meant. Alongside faith and wonder, the book explores the science of how books may survive extreme conditions, and asks honest questions without treating the Bible as a magical object.
Woven throughout the illustrations, a single orange thread quietly gathers the stories into a gentle reflection on hope.
Above all, the book reminds readers that while a surviving Bible can become a powerful symbol, people are always more precious than possessions, and the Bible’s message becomes most visible through courage, compassion and practical love.
